AFRICAN SUMMITS

Gorillas in the Mist: Rwenzori's

The Rwenzori’s are a range of mountains in Eastern Africa, located on the border Uganda and the Congo. The Rwenzori Mountains National Park provides stunning views of glacier and snow-capped mountains, waterfalls and lakes just kilometers from the equator.

A New Tomorrow: Kilimanjaro

Mount Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano in Tanzania and is the highest peak in Africa at 5895 meters. Kilimanjaro’s oldest and most established route is the”Marangu (or “Coca-Cola”) Route. Promising beautiful views, this is the most popular route up the mountain due to it being the easiest route with gradual slopes and the most direct path, which in turn results in a quicker summit compared to other routes.

The Heart of the Earth: Mount Kenya

Mt. Kenya, Africa’s second highest peak, is the less climbed cousin of Mount Kilimanjaro nearby in Tanzania. It promises beautiful views of the wilderness, abundant wildlife and stunning mountain lakes.
